dear gary-if you are from usa you
pay more because you are foreigner. even in india there are two prices
for flying within the country for air travel. feel lucky, you will
have the chance to flying on world's worst airline, indian airways. if
you always imagined it to be aeroflot, you haven't a clue. visa for myself
to to go to india from hong kong was big money more than the chinese in
the same line. more money and he handstamped it on the spot.

I'm planning a trip to India and discovered that
I also need to have a
permit from the Archeological Survey of India (ASI) to use a tripod
at such
sites as the Taj Mahal and other historic locations. I don't
know what the
permit would cost, but in any case I don't have the time on my schedule
to
visit the ASI office in New Delhi. I'm hoping that I can purchase
a permit
at the Taj directly (or pay a little "baksheesh" if anyone hassles
me.)
Has anyone had any experiences with this in India?taj
was built with slave labor. i was there, did not go in. look at the shabby
village that surrounds it.
simon nathan, behind his rock in
east orange, nj. don't expect to find lots of filmin
case you need more.
