Item Description:
Russian Horizont FT-2 35mm swing lens panoramic camera. This camera captures a 120 degree view in a 4:1 aspect ratio (film gate is 24mm x 110mm), and offers a very natural perspective. 50mm Industar lens has a fixed aperature at 5.6, and this camera has four shutter speeds (rotation speeds) of 1/50, 1/100, 1/200, and 1/400 second. All mechanical operation (no batteries), and the body has a built in level, film frame counter, and tripod socket. Composition is handled with a retractable viewing mask.
The body uses two camera-specific film cannisters for 35mm film that must be loaded in the dark (a changing bag on location). Two cannisters are included, as well as a carrying case and original box.
The body is very small, at 5x3.5x2 inches, making it an easy addition to any travel kit. It is of sturdy diecast construction, cosmetically excellent with very minor wear, mechanically reliable and flawless in operation, and easily hand holdable.
I have scanned images of this camera if you would like to see it. Just email me with your questions and I will forward the images as jpegs to you. Buyer pays with money order and adds $5.00 toward shipping costs within the US.
Thanks,
Robert Farr
