dear charles under the kingsway bridge-you must be a manager at the kingsway macdonalds because you are quite smart. i think they introduced their panoramic camera at '76 photokina. nicholas karpf of linhof was highly insulted when i sought to buy the body only to mount proper lens. this sight unseen, means i didn't have to use lens to know its performance,  recall that i already owned that lens on "bulls eye" 5x7 camera i did column at pop photo before  leaving end of 1975 to go to bill clark's camera 35.. it made 112mm  circle wide open  on 5x7 film, and larger stopped down.  schneider would listen to ya when you talked.  simon nathan behind his rock by the shoprite supermarket in east orange, new jersey.

You need a filter if you are going to shoot transparencies on a 617 Linhoff.
PERIODplease call them trannies for our downunders!
That is a positive fact. No question, no fumbling around, just break down and
do it. Bite the bullet and get the  center density filter. Honest, makes no
difference on F16 or f64. The light still has to travel further from the
extreme corners of the 90mm lens.
