dear jimmy; you must never, ever misspell biogon again. i am going to have to report you to larry gubus, sergeant at arms, of the zeiss historical society which controls vast holdings of nostalgia world-wide.

What's so great about these Biogon lenses, the British Journal of
Photography (BJP)
was raving about them in an article on an ALPS camera.
even if you rented a hasselblad and roll film back you have different lens perforfance at  different frame numbers, same aperture. you could prove   your lens with sheet film back. the 38 was over- designed. this means it covered bigger circle than needed for 6x6cm. i got my info from the late dr. hans sauer at oberkochen. on basis of this we converted old (black model) to have a rising front.  45mm did well by 6x9 and 75 was for 4x5, not realistic because of its extreme weight . that's a difficult and different discussion, need it?

all this day the discussion has  been boo-hoo my lens doesn't cover, but they ain't ever talking about zeiss lenses are they? from behind my rock near the shoprite supermarket in east orange, n.j., usa  simon nathan
