You might want to check non-halation-layer films like Kodak HIE
infrared and one or two more Kodak b&w films (Tri-X rings a bell, as
well as an odd & old copy film).
Seems this lack of an antihalation layer also makes HIE easier in
projection, when developed as b&w slide.
