Fascinating stuff on the Prinz Eugen.  I always wondered what happened
to her.  According to one of the survivors of the HMS Hood it was readfy
use ammunition in a locker that triggered the explosion which sank her
so quickly, but of course it could also have been a plunging shell as
her deck armour was very tbin.  No doubt someone will have look son
enough to find out what really happened.

In the meantime the Admiralty have installed a form up upside down
filler to catch the oil which still emanates from HMS Royal oak in Scapa
Flow.
