increase circle of coverage and you even out light distribution over your required format, but you are paralyzing utility of your camera. this takes many hand cameras down to tripod cameras or wait for the light cameras. zeiss lens are general are over designed but they
perform to the max without compromise. this is if foundation thinking versus real world survival, schneider for instance. simon
