Hello Chuck

This was discussed on the StockPhoto newsgroup several weeks ago, the
consensus was that it does not matter if your film is warm, cool or neutral
as long as you get the shot. I sell some of my stock through an American
agency and they never comment on the colour balance of my Euro film . At the
end of the day it is subjective and very much related to your own
preference.

Best wishes

Jimmy

This is a good assesment for 'snappers' as yo call some photographers over
there. It lends itself to a haphazard approach, in my experienced opinion.

I shot a book where 250+ photographs were used out of 5,000 and with two
more books planned, there was a reason for knowing how to 'balance' my film,
first.

I ran out of Kodachrome, one day, and used tungston balanced Ektachrome.
Knowing the CC for my gray card, I was able to switch films and continue on
with the project.

I would never photograph a sunset using two different films, if the
continuity were to matter.

I'm that kind of pickey photographer. If it's a 'trip to Europe' and who
cares so long as each photo has it's merits, go 'head. Take pot luck and
shoot what's available.
