of course not. it was a misunderstanding in germany. the man was in touch with me before his tirade about panoramic prints. i have vintage panoramic stuff shot in germany, printed by hand of the great dan becker. he's life magazine darkroom ace given credit for matched prints in david douglas duncan's wonderful book "this is war". the tag was continued by the list, not started by simon or relative to what we were discussing. i am certainly
in agreement with evphoto on tech talk about computers. it's about printing and faux panoramics. pan shots are an attitude, got that? i have no objection to computer geeks, but shucks that's because i don't know much but what i know i know good! simon nathan 3-6-99

I have sort of followed all the Simon Nathan letters and rants through the
past few weeks, Nothing I read from him indicates that he was supportive of
any pro nazi shit. Perhaps certain people in haste misread his posts and
started this firestorm of silliness. And by God I would rather read people
talking about photographs than computer stitching software. Make photos stop
geeking on equipment. Image is everything.
