Re: X-ray Alert

The "X-ray" guys here in the Physics Department at Monash 
University tell me that enclosing unprocessed film in 1mm thick (or 
thicker) Lead should prevent any damage from the new x-ray 
luggage scanners at airports. Mind you, such a Lead package will 
of course "set off" the scanners and alert the operators, probably 
requiring a manual inspection.
