Getting prints from slides *is* getting easier and better every
year, but only through the digital route, and it still is cheaper
to get them straight from negatives.
You might also discover that certain brands/types of film are more
prone to ripping inside the camera....not only related to strenght of
film, but also tightness of the felt trap in the cannister and
thickness of film....Kodak HIE infrared (aerial roots) for example
is perfect, but older 3M 100ASA will rip if I don't use some tricks
(helping the film along with the rewind-knob, counter-clockwise, more
details on my homepage).
> Now, if I shoot with slide film, do I have to buy a special projector ?!
You need a 6x6 projector (or 6x7)....not many to choose from, but
they do exist....see a chapter on my homepage:
http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/mainpage.htm
(btw, for those interested, it seems there is another German company
making a 4x5" projector, as well as a 18.5x18.5cm unit....don't know
price yet....8-))
> Finally, is it possible to fit a polariseur filter onto the lens ?
Yes, that is my latest addiction in the world of panoramics, but I am
still not done yet, as I now want a vari-col polarizer (like the ones
from Cokin & Hoya, blue/yellow in particular (the others are a bit
too poppy and alienating in colors).
I even have one for a Noblex 150, but haven't found the right
design/materials to fabricate them myself (got it along with a used
150, and still don't know who made that filter!).

It's not on my homepage, but I do have a text-file with the latest
data on possible filters that I will send you separately.
If others are interested, just send me a private mail.
Also for those who are interested in the 202 itself, for
US$375 (brand new)....;-))
(hope you didn't pay much more than that Regis?)
