I don't know is this helps or not, but I use a UMAX Powerlook II flatbed
scanner, with the transparency top option. Using Binuscan software, I can
scan any size neg. or pos. piece of film, without any difficulty.

Am I correct that with the view scan software and a compatible scanner, I
would be able to scan a 24X56 (or somewhere in that ballpark) negative or
slide. Does anyone use that paricular software with their scanners. Do you
have a web page or web site with photos?
