CORRECTION:
Any wide negative can be recombined easily by pulling
scanned images together and stitching. The statement
below applies when combining mulitple exposures.

Vuescan didn't help me at all. If the image is made
with a swing lens camera stitching is no problem.
Just pull both images together and combine then.
With any other camera you'll need a great many
images to eliminate barrel distortion or use
commercial stitching software.
