Since this requires German legal assistence, I recommend that Helmut 
posts his story on de.rec.fotografie....I am sure there are several 
German law students who will be more than happy to help him out, 
perhaps even providing him with more professional legal assistence 
through their institutes.

Too bad I live in Holland....I have taken classes patent/licence-law
on university, from a part-time prof who has an impressive CV, among
which the famous CVT/Variomatic from DAF automotive industries.
