I already know that I can't get a local lab to run very wide film.
Most of the labs up here in the woods run only 35 mm; I've had trouble
convincing one to run 120, and even then they refuse to proof it.
We soup our own b/w cirkut film in a hand cranked aerial film tank,
and that seems to work fine, but I can't do that for anything wider than 8".
I'm also not sure that I would trust a commercial job to the wash basin method
without a lot of experimentation. Seems like there should be a simple
solution.....
