I hope this is not spamming the list, but these workshops are conducted
by a not-for-profit organization in which I'm active.

Attention photographers: Have you dreamed about being able to
photograph
orca whales of the San Juan Islands in the early morning and late
evening
light? Be on board the Mystic Sea with Stuart Westmorland in the only
photography workshop of its kind, June 24-27, and you will follow the
world's largest resident populations of orca whales long after the tour
boats have left. Expert photo counseling will accompany viewing,
photography, and natural history information on the orcas as well as
other
wildlife. To maximize time with the whales, you will camp and live
aboard
the roomy 100-foot boat, commanded by a captain with over 30 years
experience in these waters. There is space for only two more
participants
so act now!
There are still a few spaces available in The Travel Image: Capturing a
Sense of Place with Brenda Tharp, June 4-6; Gary Magruder's Black and
White
Standardization and Calibration workshop at the PLU campus darkroom and
on
location at Mount Rainier, June 20-23; and Committing your Life to
Portraiture with Nick Del Calzo, August 28-31.
