I set my #8 Cirkut range finder with the 24" on 75 feet, not the full 100
and did a spin on the beach under the Monterey Warf #1 as stated was my
plan; and I believe I may have soft focus in the distance.  But the tide was
rushing in and the tripod legs sunk in the softened sand so the second shot
may have to wait.

How did your blue bird sky shot go?  Did you get out there?
