digital or argentic camera for QTVR ?

Hello to everyone, I'm a new member of the list with a lot of questions
(and some answers...)
I want to realize QTVR journeys and
hesitate to buy an argentic camera like the Horizon 202 or Noblex 135U, or a
digital one like the new Nikon Coolpix 950. I read in a computer
magazine that it's possible to have a panoramic
view using a digital camera with a 183° fish-eye,
once redressed by a sofwtare. This would make
possible a 360° view quite easier and faster than
shooting with a rotating-lens camera then scanning.
The journalist added that a 135 mm camera produces
more information than QTVR technology can deal with, which would give
advantage to a digital camera like the Nikon Coolpix 950...
What is your idea about that ?
