I live on the low budget end of panorama photography with my 35 mm Noblex and 
HP PhotoSmart scanner.  I see that the local CompUSA has clearance priced the 
Epson Stylus Photo EX at $270.  I remember a while back that it seemed to be 
widely liked on the mail list.

Would this be a good move for us budget bottom feeders?

Should I wait for whatever is replacing it?

Any and all comments, suggestions, insults, etc., would be greatly 
appreciated.
