220 film with Noblex 150

Has anyone used 220 film in the noblex 150 cameras?  I understand the the 
mechanics of running the film thru the camera--but -- how about (1) no paper 
backing to protect the film from damage; (2)is the film held tight against 
the back for max sharpness.
