The unpredictability of this problem is my big problem with the Widelux. Has
anyone found any regularity in its occurence? I have heard about excercising
the mechanism to reduce the likelihood of banding, about film of different
thickness, etc. but I am not satisfied that any of these reliably explain
much of the variation. Anybody have reliable information on the drivers of
banding and reliable controls for it?
