Several months ago I learned (from Rich Campbell, I believe) that the Kodak
Panoram No. 1 has an f/13 lens. To determine the effective shutter speed, I
did a side-by-side test with the Panoram and my Mamiya 6 (the modern one) at
various shutter speeds. The Mamiya negative shot at 1/125 matched the
Panoram negative shot at the same time. Both 120 rolls were developed in
fresh developer. The reason I made this test is that I developed 5 different
push-in f/stops ranging from f/16 to f/32. I can now use the camera in
bright sunlight with Tri-X or T-Max 400. -- Marty Magid
