michael- might i ask you what size are your pan negatives. i can think of little reason for 11x14 enlarger unless your pan negatives are that long. in writing specs for original hulcherama about 1976 i chose a lens that was coming on the market at the next photokina from mamiya for their 645 fp model....35mm fl on 645....ok, why, asked charles hulcher....well, i said camera is for interiors for my use and this'll give neg that fits on 8x10" paper and we need to conform to things that are available...120 film, 8x10" paper, 8x10 enlargers, etc..

These are my two current options for enlargements for pan negs:

1. Get a proof sheet completed for the roll & choose the best shot(s).
2. Enlarge these using an 11x14 enlarger, at my local photo shop.
But the print is still not really that "big".

*OR*

1. Get a proof sheet completed for the roll & choose the best shot(s).
2. Scan the proof or enlargement
3. Print out using Epson Stylus at 1440 dpi, size 8 1/2 by 23+.
For higher quality prints, this can take a long time.
Getting the color balance perfect is also time consuming.
The results are ok, but not really as nice as the print option, IMO.

I am looking for other alternatives. Please share your thoughts.
