Curt is absolutely correct. My washing machine soggy toast.
These things aren't like buying things by the pound...ie...a better deal
is greater aov for less money. What a ridiculous idea..how much should
one pay for each degree of coverage?
This spring I meet a very successful professional stock photographer in
Scotland. We were both shooting at Callanish Stone Circle. He travels
with at least a half dozen cameras, almost all medium format, 645, 67,
69 etc...and he was set up with his Xpan. He has been very pleased with
the results of the Xpan.
I have a Noblex and the camera is wonderful. I wanted something that
didn't create some of the swing lens distortions and I spent a long time
considering the Xpan. In the end I went for a 612 only because I wanted
a large trannie.
The Xpan would be easier to shoot than my 612 and less costly in film
and processing. It would probably be better with back lit images.

Perhaps of more value in this discussion:
I have heard third hand that some people experience some light fall off
with the wider lens...any info on this? Have they introduced their
third lens yet?
