Panorama cameras, non-perforated films, etc.

Hi, I have a few questions:

Is there any FAQ, good web site about panorama cameras or photography?
Does this group have a archive site for past posts?

What camera, new or used,  is recommended, both value and functionality
wise, for taking panorama pictures? 

I have plenty of long roll 70mm Kodak Portra film, and considering
slitting it into 35mm non perforated film. Any camera, esp. panorama
camera, can take non perforated film?

Anyone tried converting old camera into panorama one? I am considering
those old Polaroid or Kodak cameras, they are plenty and under-utilized.

Anyone uses Mamiya 7? How good it is?
