So who's left? Can I yell and scream and get some attention now?

Oh, please do Jan! You know sometimes arguments attract our attention
like wrecks on the highway do. But subtleties are recognized too, in life
and art. I have a friend, Mary Ruth Robinson, who moves through her
environment like water. She's so quiet. She is a very effective
photographer , I think, because she uses her invisibility in shooting. She
rarely squares her shoulders, pulls her elbows in and shoots, she chooses
not to interfere with her picture. Sometimes she doesn't even look at her
subjects through the viewfinder at all. Yet the results are very clear,
informal and like poetry.

Anyway, I read and reread this stuff and try not to miss anything. I'm a
little behind on my reading right now, however, holidays and all. Are you
looking for a response? A response to what? As long as people don't start
flashing those banners at me, l'm cool. As far as getting too much email,
there has to be a technical way around that. Right now I'm downloading
everything on floppy, but I think I'm going to use automatic AOL and get my
email off line. It's not a one hour show. We have as long as we like to
read all this right?

                                                                       teri
