Stitching was used reliably by photographers well before the
famous Emil Schultress's famous poster of the famous alps. It's also been used
by many famous painters (didn't help Van Gogh however).

good idea, phil, and is what emil
schultress did years and years ago for his famous 360 degree swiss alps
poster...he had bracket and it held four widelux cameras. stitching was
nonexistant as we know it now. simon nathan
