Simplest method is to get a 36" square sheet of white cardboard and make a black cross about 2" wide across the centre of it. The vertical and horizontal lines will be the
same length. This is your target. Photograph it at whatever distance you want to check for your gear. Process the film and when both the vertical and horizontal lines are
the same length you have the right gear. ( The vertical line always stays the same height, the horizontal line will be either longer or shorter depending on the gear
used) Hows that Ron?
