Hi Jook,
very distressing thing, two days after I got the lens I had to sit down with
a small hacksaw and cut the lens shade off. I manages to keep it one piece so
that I can re-attach it for if I am shooting normal 35mm.
I have made a camera out of three parts:
An extension tube mount that screws into a copal #3 shutter.
A plate that the shutter screws onto with a recess machined into it so that
the lens to film distance is correct
A rotating Horseman (I think, at least that is the name on the focus screen)
6x7 and 6x9 back that takes my Mamiya RB backs. I have just used four thumb
screws from a Photoflex softbox to attach the plate to the rotatig back, so
that I can remove it easily for use on my 4x5. I can use this setup with any
of my 35 mm lenses for a full circle image, or a 36x36 square which
simplifies the number of scans that I have to do.
