I still respectfully disagree.  The need for a ladder or need not to use a  
ladder depends solely on the desired perspective.... IF you already have rise  
and fall capabilities.  If you are using a ladder to avoid converging lines,   
you are changing the perspective. 
 
Still not a clear argument but, what the heck,  I yield.
