April Meeting - Update IV (short message)

To be fair and truthful to those who are considering coming to this April Meeting, I have to say that "Springtime" appears to be coming early this year. All of March to this point has been above average temperature-wise. The Forsythias are already at peak, the Bartlett Pears are at or just past peak, the Daffodils are in full bloom and some varieties of Cherry are blooming as well. The Yoshida Cherry, the variety which grace the Tidal Basin in DC, are probably not far behind. Therefore, if your major purpose in attending the meeting is to photograph the blossoms, its possible you might be a little disappointed.

If, on the other hand, you plan to come because of the itinerary and comeraderie, then you should have a great time.
