Epson Roll Paper Holder

The new Epson 870 comes with a roll paper holder (an option on the 1270)
that holds 4 inch paper.  The "Digital PhotoLab" software enables printing
edge-to-edge on the roll, and each "normal" 6-inch print is butted up
against the next print -- just like a mini lab.

Question:  Will the software that enables edge-to-edge roll printing permit
continuous panoramic prints up the the same 44 inch length as the "normal"
panoramic mode????
