The April Meeting

The informal April meeting in Washington DC was a big success thanks mostly
to efforts of Richard Schneider.  We had about 25 or so attendees mostly
from the East coast but even a couple from as far away as California (way to
go Bill McBride and Jeff Weisenberger) and one from Illinois (Doug Segal)
and had some wonderful and very informative visits to the Library of
Congress, the Smithsonian Photo department, and the National Archives photo
collections.  When you combine that with great exchanges in personal
experieces and some grand "war stories,"  the three days was one good time.
For most the highlights were seeing some of the best panoramas from our
Nation's past 100+ years.
