Dear Colin,

Ooops, I just scrolled down and saw the other comment about the Las Vegas 
Conference.  Fred and Jean Yake put that one on, and it was advertised in 
Panorama as an official IAPP function, so then $5 per attendee is required 
for the IAPP budget.  I remember about 40 people in the room, but you'd have 
to ask Fred and Jean how many people were enrolled and what sum of money they 
added to IAPP.  

I'm not sure if you know already, but Everen Brown and Jean Yake resigned, 
and were replaced by Peter Lorber and Richard Schneider.  Also, the board 
voted to return to the Panorama magazine we had been publishing before.  
Warren Wight is laying it out again, and Joe DeRenzo is our web page manager. 
 We'll send a formal announcement soon via e-mail to our wired members, and 
via snail mail to the members without e-mail.
