You are right, Joe.  The Noblex product is the VR-3.  Check out 
http://www.kamera-werk-dresden.de/deutsch/noblex/zubehoer/zubehoer.htm
and click on VR-3 head.  They are not cheap, but the quality is there, and it
makes clicking the through the 120 degree increments a breeze.
