I've got the Epson 1600 scanner w/transparency adapter. I've been
scanning Roundshot 35 as well as Alpo Roto negatives (120) using color
negative and b&w material.  I'm amazed at how well the Epson software
works.  I prefer it over the Silverfast, which I had also purchased. I'm
outputting through an Epson 1200 printer using Generations ink.
My use of the scanner is strictly for "at home".  I'm sure judged
against the Imacon scanner it might not hold up, but as they say
"Everything is relative".
