Isn't it something like this;
given the ends of the contact print are really correct for
a 360 degree shot the radius would be 282 mm = 11" for the focal
length and the vertical angle 50 degrees at 10" = 254 mm
negative height. That is with focussing at infinity.
Larscan designs are based on that AFAIUI = as far as I understand it.
It is also the most common vertical angle for the 'normal' panorama
camera's: Noblex 150 = 53, Globuscope = 51, Widelux F8 + Poundshot 65
w/70mm = 49, Horizon 202 = 47, Noblex 135 + Roundshot 65 w/220 = 45.
