RE: slit width

Awhile ago I remember serious banding on our Roundshot 35S, but not from
slit width. Instead, it was from motor speed stepping. On fast scans with
the variable exposure enabled, the motor controller was unable to change
speeds fast enough and instead, produced a series of increasing/decreasing
stepped velocities (the motor sound was very noticeable as a series of
discrete tones instead of the expected smooth tonal gradient). It's been a
while since I've used a Roundshot so don't know if this has been fixed.
