I have 2 Hprizon 202's which go to 1/250. On both there is an extra spot
where another shutter speed number could go. One has the extra spot
before the slow speeds and the other after the high speeds. In any case
I looks like they had the idea of an extra speed at that time. I had not
heard that those which go to 1-500 are quieter but fairly rare. $800
seems high. I saw a few selling for about $500 several months ago.
Unless you absolutly need the faster speed I would save a bit and get
the 1/250 version. $800 is a lot to send for sometime that has a 50%
chance of developing a major problem. When the work, they work great.
Perfect sharp exposures with no banding, but one of mine went bad after
5 rolls. If you are willing to spend that much I would try to locate a
used Noblex. IMHO
