IAPP Auxiliary Web Site (somewhat long)

IAPP has decided to enhance their web presence by launching an auxiliary web site with a company called MyAssociation.com, whose business it is to improve the operations of non-profit organizations. This auxiliary site will have numerous capabilities that will greatly improve the dissemination of information from the organization to its members and other interested parties. It will also provide opportunities for members to disseminate information among themselves. The manner in which this accomplished could be in the form of live chat rooms, surveys, organization news, links and a calendar of events. 

You do not have to be an IAPP member to be a "member" of this auxiliary site. But you do need to register in order to take advantage of all the site has to offer. MyAssociation.com collects the information that you provide, but it will NOT be shared with any other entity. You will not get spammed; you will not get junk mail from them.

This auxiliary web site has a commerce component to it as well. "Members" will have an opportunity to purchase products and services on-line from a wide selection of well-known merchants and corporations. When you make a purchase through the iapp.myassociation.com web site, the IAPP will receive a small donation from the proceeds. There is no expectation or requirement that you make a purchase however.

Within a month or two, one will be able to become an IAPP member on-line if they are so interested. One will also be able to donate to the Richard Fowler Education Foundation, a charitable part if IAPP's activities that aims to support education and the dissemination of information about panoramic photography.
