Hi there

I am looking to upgrade my scanner.  I recently got Silverfast 5 for my
Coolscan and with many previously unscannable trannies I find that I can
get an OK scan.  Old Kodachromes are still a problem...

My HP4c is now rather long in the tooth and Silverfast did not give it
the same shot in the arm - rather the reverse so far.  I am thus looking
at a newer flatbed.  There seems to be a choice of a Umax III, Microtek
5, Minolta Dimage Multi, etc.

I will be scanning 6x7 and 645 trannies for Internet, and some prepress
work.  Does anyone have any experience which might help?

Yes I would like an Imacon....
