This could turn into an interesting discussion ... !!!

The problem with some cameras is that they don't rotate about the correct
point. Cirkut cameras are especially prone to having a large discrepancy
between the nodal point (front or rear??!!) and the axis of rotation of 
the camera.

Another factor is that what matters in order to make sharp reproductions
is that the image distance must be taken into account and not the lens'
focal length (unless one is satisfied with photographing objects at infinity).

IMO anyway.
