I had a Panoram No. 1 which seemed to expose very will with 100 ASA film
on fast speed and bright light and slower speed when slightly overcast.
I am not sure what the fixed aperature is. Probably about f11. If you
have a way of estimating the time of travel of the swing (probably about
an 1/8 sec.), then divide the total length of swing by the width of the
slit. Fast B&W film in those days seemed to be about 80 ASA or so. Good
