Noblex warranty

As far as I am concerned the discussion about NOBLEX lead in this news
group is absolutely unworthy. Suppositions are made and informations are
interpreted without any knowledge. Before I start discussing information I should
know the meaning of the whole topic. The best would be to ask NOBLEX directly
about the reasons for the information. Everything is, actually, clear for
me: In case you buy a Noblex from the list you have no warranty from Kamera
Werk Dresden. Ok, I wouldn't mind about it because I buy all my equipment
from specialist dealers.
By the way, my sister bought a grey market Chrysler two years ago. She got
a document with the information that she had warranty. What was not
included in this paper was that she had to drive to the US for warranty. Where is
the law that protects the consumer made by USA in this case? She had to pay
for all repairs (warranty repairs) and there was not just one. However, it
was her decision. She had the opportunity to buy a Chrysler from an official
dealer for a price 25% higher than the one she paid.
I have seen the offers at ebay. They directly 'attack' an American dealer.
It is something which is not allowed according to our law since the word
'warranty' seems to be concealed on purpose and Kamera Werke Noble is refered
to. This company was closed some years ago. You could ask for warranty
there! The information is very helpful for all customers. We do not have to buy
cameras there. I prefer to know whether I get a new camera or not and whether
the manufacturer gives warranty or not. I cannot compare apples with pears
and then refer to a better price. Noblex is correct in this case.
In addition my car was breaken into in the Czech Republic in 1996 and my
photo equipment was stolen. My Linhof and Mamiya disappeared but Kamera Werk
Dresden returned my Noblex in 1998. They track all serial numbers and the
camera was offered in Germany during a auction of photo equipment. A customer
asked Kamera Werk Dresden about the year of production and the value and
gave serial number and model. So I got my camera back. I thank Noblex for this.
