Great response questions Bruce.

I have used Panorama Factory and was so impressed with it, I selected it as
the stitcher to bundle with the SpinScape-I product.  See:

I found the Panorama Factory as simply fabulous - exceeded in quality by the
technical support that I only needed once as I began to learn it.

If there is a problem, I bet it isn't PF's fault.  I would guess the
operating system is running out of memory (RAM) and not handling it
gracefully - parking two cars in the same parking space as an analogy...
