When someone mentioned the new Rolling Stone's video, I suddenly remembered
that I still had a vhs of a television broadcast they did in 1990 on Fox-TV
for their Steel Wheels tour.  It was filmed in 3D by a company called Pull
3D.  I found it and watched it again.  The 3D effects are very good.  The
amazing thing (to me, anyway) is that there is little or no ghosting even
WITHOUT THE GLASSES!  The glasses are some kind of polarized setup except one
side is clear and the other is very dark.  I'm not familiar with some of the
recent developments in tv broadcast 3D but I was very impressed (five years
after the fact) with the Stones broadcast.  How'd they get the picture to
look like normal 2D without glasses?
