Software stereo-restitution.



Hello, 
I am working in a CNRS Laboratory in France.
We are studying air-sea interactions;
We have a very big wind-wave facility to simulate air-sea physical
mechanisms that occur at the sea-surface.
Two years ago, we made couples of stereo pictures of waves generated
by the wind.
The pictures were  stereo-restituted with a MATRA Traster T 10
machine, so we could get the elevation of the water waves at each pixel.
The MAtra system is a very big Silicon Graphics system and it costs a lot
300  $   for the stereo-restitution of one picture.  (This is the procedure 
use for spot like satelitte images) 

My question is : Does exist a shareware software that can compute from 
the left and right pictures  the stereo-restitution (In french what we
call the "modele numerique de terrain", or the "ortho-image"). 

Remember that we do not  use specific glasses, or red-green filter or
polarised lights , ....  Our goal is to have the 3D coordinates of the 
object we observe from the left and right images. 
The precision required is 1 mm  (The size of the object is 60 cm By 60 cm).
We know how to calibrate the camera (exact focallength, distorsion, 
 non-alignement of the CCD Matrice apart from the optical line ...)
 But we have no software for the stereo restitution.

May I have some Help ?
