Exhibit of contemporary 3D

Yes, I have another plan underway...
As some of you already know I run a small non-profit (VERY non-profit)
organization that publishes books and promotes artwork by non-professional
artists on the internet. So far we have been fairly successful in gaining
public awareness and have even won an award for our book designs. My
partner and I have just finished re-designing our web-site to house what,
for all intents and purposes, will be a functioning artist-run gallery with
curated exhibitions. I would like to propose an exhibition of contemporary
3D photography. By "contemporary" I mean imagery that may push the
boundaries of traditional photography. This may be due to unorthodox
techniques or the composition. I am not limiting this definition to
abstraction (I can debate that term into the ground) but images that are
distinct from ones made previously. Computer-made images will also be
accepted. If you are interested please follow the following information:
-send black & white or color images as email attachments or on disk to the
address below. Do not send original works! We can accept Mac or PC
formats. Jpeg's are prefered.
-total image area should not exceed 7x7" at 72 dpi.
-include your name, email(option to have direct link), title of image,
original format (ie. Realist, 35mm pair, etc...) and date. Place this
information in your email message or in letter. Do not include in scan.
-images may be anaglyphic, cross-eye or wall-eye pairs.
-if applicable, send all discs (with return postage please) to:

A selection will be made to provide a coherent exhibition and at
this point I am not sure how many images will be included. Closing date
for submissions is Dec.31, 1995. The exhibition will run for two months.
Please email me if you have any questions or suggestions.
Sincerely...jamie.
