Alfredo..there are two kinds of rangefinder images in cameras of old.
One like the Leica is "superimposed", the other is the split field
like military rangefinder found on deluxe cameras like Kodak Medalist
and Ektra and Bantam Super and on the Realist, Argus, and Revere..the
"joint" is a bit sloppy on these cameras and the "overlap" tends to be
a bit superimposed, but you
are expected to split a vertical line line a house edge, window frame
or edge of face or ? From your description I think the RF is fine (as
well as they were made or adjusted!) BobH
(The superimposed puts duplicate images on top of each other..it is
easier to use on highlights etc. as you don't have to split an
object.)
