Not sure, but the lenticular has, as I understand, a wider angle of viewability. Not
as wide of a useful angle as flattie projection use, but every bit of
width helps in living room situations where the seats are *not* all stacked up at the
ortho point in front of the screen -- like I would suppose it's supposed to be.
I've only one screen, so I can't compare, but it does have a pretty wide angle of view
without brightness between the close-side and the far side being "too" different or dim.
I understand that non-lenticular silver screens have a narrower reflection angle,
which would make one think lenticulars to be dimmer at its brightest angle -- but I
can't make a direct comparison.
I know my lenticular screen is more or less usable at surprising angles away from
the screen.
